Several weeks ago Port Au Prince, Haiti was all but destroyed by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake, to be followed up by a 6.3 magnitude aftershock.
These men, women and children need your help.
United Way is here to help.

Visit the Buchanan Center for the Arts to see "Journey Stories", a provocative look at the methods of travel throughout the ages, the people who traveled, and why they traveled.
The exhibit will be in Monmouth from January 30 through March 11th

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training
Disaster Responders--Community Builders
7 Tuesdays from 6:30-9:00 p.m.

CERT Training includes hands-on instruction on:
Disaster Preparedness
Fire Safety
Disaster Medical Operations-Triage and Treating Life Threatening Injuries, and Assessment, Treatment and Hygiene
Light Search and Rescue
Team Organization
Disaster Psychology
Final Exercise
CERT is a National Program that is a part of Citizen Corps. This training is provided to citizens in our area through a Citizen Corps Grant and a partnership between the City of Monmouth, RSVP and the Monmouth Fire Department.
Class Size Is Limited
